Disney Infinity 3.0
Disney Infinity 3.0 is finally here! This is the one everyone has been waiting for. Not only was this exciting for fans to play in the Star Wars Universe but it was important for Disney Interactive to truly improve upon its product.
I have played several hours of Disney Infinity 3.0 with my kids and boy what a step up from 2.0. Not only is the gameplay improved, but Star Wars seems to fit perfectly with the Disney Infinity animation style. We have only played Star Wars at this point but will be playing Inside Out soon enough.
Another upgrade is the Toy Box. They have really focused on making sure people understand all elements of the Toy Box and how to use it to get the most enjoyment out of the game. I am very excited to start to mix Mos Eisley with San Fransokyo.
Another great thing is the physical characters themselves. They are very high quality; every Jedi has a lightsaber which wasn’t absolutely necessary but very welcomed. Even Ahsoka has two lightsabers which must add to the manufacturing costs but that isn’t passed off to the consumer!
Disney Infinity does get expensive to play but I highly recommend that everyone trys to play this game with their children. There is something for all ages. The Toy Box is kind of like a Disney MineCraft that gives you have hours of creative fun with your kids.
In total there will be 3 Star Wars playsets Clone Wars Era, Rebellion Era and The Force Awakens Era. Right now you can get the Clone Wars and Inside Out playsets individually and in a special bundle you can get the Rebellion Era with the Clone Wars Era but if that’s sold out in your area you only have to wait a month to buy it individually.
